An unusual day before Christmas in northern Ontario

It’s beginning to look a lot like springtime

Usually this time of year in northern Ontario The lake is frozen. Some years the ice is solid enough for cottagers and permanent residents on the lake to skate on Christmas Day.The lake water must be quite warm for Stomp to be standing in it and drinking it. He is a bit of a suck and doesn’t normally like going in the lake if the water is cold. In Toronto people are golfing. Toronto boasts a record high for Christmas day. Merry Christmas to all.
